Kalamata olives grown in olive groves in the Peloponnese and Central Greece, have invaluable nutritional value, as a source of monounsaturated fatty acids, fiber, minerals and vitamins A, E, K which are natural antioxidants.

It is the basis of the Mediterranean diet and in fact is considered the secret of longevity. It is eaten as an appetizer or accompaniment to salads and is used both in cooking in sauces or as an ingredient in foods, pies, and many other delicacies.
